To ensure student safety, the transportation department will not accept phone calls to change a student's drop-off or change of address. All requests must be in submitted using the appropriate forms. All transportation forms can be found on our Forms page under the 'Our District' menu.

Students are allowed one (1) alternate transportation location, along an existing current year bus route.  Requests will be granted on a space available basis only.

• An “Otsego Local Schools Alternate Transportation Request” form must be completed and returned to the Otsego Transportation Department 72 hours prior to the requested beginning date.
• Alternate Transportation Form may be downloaded from our Forms page under the 'Our District' menu.

A parent or designated guardian must be present for the driver to release a preschooler or kindergarten student from the bus.  IF, no parent or guardian is present the student will be returned to school.

• Each student will be given a designated “place of safety” at their bus stop
• Pick up: Students must be at their designated “place of safety” 5 minutes prior to pick-up.
• Drop Off:  Students are not to proceed to their residence from the “place of safety” until the school bus has departed.
