Mrs. Debbie Bowers
I teach Art II, III, IV, and digital photography and co-teach Art I. I live in Clyde with my husband Dave and two children, Ian and Olivia. In 2007 I received my Bachelors of Arts Education from the University of Toledo. While there I was honored as the Art Education Student of the Year. Currently I am pursuing my Master’s of Art Education. The most important aspect of high school art is that our project be modern and relatable from our student’s perspective, while at the same time linked to our history. It can get pretty loud and strange in the art studio, but we always end up with some great art! |

Mrs. Tina Helle
I have been an Art teacher with Otsego for 13 years now. I have had the opportunity to work with every grade level from Kindergarten to High School and I have enjoyed working with each one. I currently teach Jr. High Art and Art 1 at the High School. I co-teach with two fabulous art teachers, Mrs. Rank at the Jr. High and Mrs. Bowers at the High School. We work hard to create consistency through out the curriculum. We have many exciting things happening in our art program such as the annual Spring Art show and the Artsonia web site which features student art work. I look forward to another great year in art with our students. |

Mrs. Jennifer Rank
My name is Mrs. Rank and I teach Junior High Art. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University and am working on a Masters of Fine Arts at the University of Toledo. My specialty is figure painting and drawing but I love to learn new things and share them with my students. In Junior High students use metals, clay, watercolor, glass tiles, acrylic, and a variety of other materials to create works of Art that are personal to them. In addition to learning many Art making techniques they also practice critical thinking, problem solving, and divergent thinking while learning about Art History, Aesthetics, and Popular Culture. |
