Here you can find a biome description of the more common birds of Wood County.

This site is organized differently than a normal bird classification book.  This is in order for everyone to be able to use it easily.  For example In a regular bird book it is assumed that you know the general identity of the bird and their general adaptations.  This site doesn't do that.  On the left you will see some very general classifications.  In those categories you will find the common names of the birds that fit that description.  The category Migratory Birds contains birds that fit into other categories on this page.  Therefore, it is possible to find the same bird twice.   The same is true for the categories "Lake Shore birds" and "Waterfowl."
