Middle School Page
Dear Parents and Students:
Welcome to the Otsego Middle School Band. I trust your time with us will be fun, rewarding and educational. The middle school band is quite a bit different than the elementary band that you are accustom to. Students have the opportunity to be in both band and choir or if they wish, in band only. Several students have already chosen to be in band every day!!
At this time we have 50 students in the middle school band. We have great talent and I am sure this will be a fine musical group.
We
have also have a middle school jazz band that students who play trumpet,
trombone, baritone, saxophone and drum set can play in. The jazz
band meets on Fridays. Those students who are in swing choir come
to jazz band every other week and to swing choir on the opposite on
Fridays.
Your students should have brought home to you the Otsego Middle School Band Handbook. Please read it carefully and return the signature page. Also, please mark our performance dates on your calendar. These are important to our groups growth.
