DAWN JACOBS, TREASURER

Dawn will join the administrative team December 2012. She comes to Otsego after serving as Treasurer/CFO for the Bucyrus City School District, a position she has held since October, 2009. Dawn has used her skills in educational finance and grant administration to help develop and administer foundation, entitlement and competitive funding for Bucyrus City Schools.
Dawn has been working in educational finance since 1993 fostering lasting professional partnerships with Anthony Wayne Local Schools, Lucas County Educational Service Center and Mangen & Associates.
Ms. Jacobs obtained her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from Heidelberg College and attended Wright State University studying Ohio School Law and Ohio School Finance. She is a member of numerous school business organizations.
An Anthony Wayne graduate, Dawn resides in Bowling Green and has two grown sons who are graduates of Rossford High School.
Ms. Jacobs says, “I am so excited to be returning to public school education in Northwest Ohio and am very anxious to begin work and look forward to being a part of the school community.”
