Create Web Links in a Word Document

If you know the address to an existing Web page, you can type it directly into the Word document. For example, type www.microsoft.com, (be sure to press either the space bar or the enter key after it) and Word creates the hyperlink for you.   You may also copy the address from the web and paste it into the Word document.

You may change the style of hyperlinks in Word documents.

You may want to change the color of a followed link, especially if you are using the document as a source for students and don’t want them to know which sites the last student visited.

Example - used at computer centers in 6th grade
