Add a watermark to a
printed document
1.
On the View menu, click Header and Footer.
2.
On the Header and Footer toolbar, click the “Show/Hide Document Text”
button to hide the text and graphics in the main document.
3.
Insert a graphic -- a drawing object such as an AutoShape, clip art,
WordArt, or picture, or insert a text box.
4.
Format the graphic – Layout tab = “behind text”, Picture tab –
image control -color = drop down to “watermark”, place the graphic where you
want it (it is OK to be outside the defined “header” rectangle)
