Viewing Photos

To view your pictures as thumbnails or as a filmstrip

  1. Double-click the folder that contains the files you want to view.
  2. On the View menu, click Filmstrip, Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List or Details.

Within “thumbnails” or “filmstrip” you can rotate a photo by right-clicking the photo and choosing either Rotate Clockwise or Rotate Counterclockwise from the list that appears - you might have to rotate it several times to get it into the position you wish.

To view your pictures as a slide show

  1. Open the folder that contains your photos
  2. Under Picture Tasks, click View as a slide show.   If you don't see Picture Tasks, first try clicking the Folders button in the toolbar.  If you still don't see Picture Tasks you will have to change the folder to a "picture" folder:  Right-click the folder, click Properties, on the Customize tab, under Use this folder type as a template, select Pictures, click Apply, click OK.
