Right click the file name, from the pop-up menu click Rename, type in the new name being sure to keep the file extension. The file extension is the period followed by three letters - ie, .jpg, .gif, .doc, .xls, etc
Old filename: MVC-1265.jpg
Renamed file: success.jpg
Be sure to rename picture/photo files so it easy to determine what they are depicting. Also keep in mind, picture files created on the Mavica cameras may end up with the same name. This could cause a problem if someone else put a file with the same name in the same folder. The older file would be overwritten (in effect, deleted).
