CHARTS AND GRAPHS

Fill in the blanks.

Fill in all the blanks, (you must spell properly) then press "Check" to check your answers. Use the "Buy a Letter" button (it is at the bottom) to get the first letter if an answer is giving you trouble. Note that you will lose points if you buy a letter!

Many types of charts have an x-axis and a y-. Column charts, bar charts, line graphs, and scatter graphs all have axes. (The plural of axis is .)

The -axis goes horizontal. Mrs. Bradley has a funny way for us to remember this. She crosses her arms in front of her and says, “To use your arms to make an X you have to make a cross that goes .” Then she opens her arms up horizontally.

The y-axis is . I just have to remember it is and down.

After I all my information correctly in the spreadsheet’s cells I have to select or the that will be used for the graph. Then I click the chart-wizard button in the bar.
