Is there an easy way to place a
large collection of pictures (200) in the storyboard with the same transition
between them?
Yes - Drag two pictures to
the storyboard, place the desired transition between them. Then select all of
the remaining pictures by clicking on the “first” picture in the collection,
hold the shift key and click on the
“last" picture. Drag the entire group of pictures on top of the transition in the storyboard
and all pictures will be automatically placed in the storyboard with the same
transition in between.
Can
I shorten the duration of a still picture? (default is 5
seconds) On the Tools menu, click Options, click the Advanced tab, enter
the number of seconds you want, click OK.
To remove all effects from the storyboard: Go to the first clip/picture in the storyboard, select its effect by clicking on the effect star icon. Go to the last clip/picture and SHIFT-click its effect. All effects are now selected. Press delete to remove the effects.
To remove all transitions from the storyboard:
(different technique than removing all effects)
Click on the first transition in the storyboard.
Press CTRL+A which will then select all of the transitions (if you used
the effects technique of SHIFT-click even the clips/pictures would have been
selected). Press delete to remove
the transitions.
To
increase the transition time - In Storyboard view, put a transition between two clips, then in
Timeline mode select the second clip and drag it left over the first one. You
will see a blue gradient slope which shows how much time the transition will
take from start to complete.
