Drawing in Paint

Make a winter scene with a snowman, mountains, evergreen trees, etc.
1.          Draw 3 circles, each smaller than the previous to use as snowman parts (remember, hold the shift key to make a circle rather than an oval)
2.          Select and move the circles to make a snowman.

3.          Use the filled rectangle tool (black) to make a top hat:  first draw the base/brim on the snowman’s head, then draw the top.

4.          Use the filled circle tool (blue) to make an eye.  Copy and paste to make an identical eye.

5.          Use the paintbrush (red) to make several “dots” to represent the mouth.
6.          Use the straight-line tool (orange) to make a carrot nose. Be sure it is an enclosed triangle.  Fill it in with the paint bucket (orange).

7.          Use the paint brush (brown) to make several “dots” to represent buttons

8.          Use the paintbrush with the wide ribbon stroke to add a scarf around the “neck”
9.          Use the paintbrush (brown) to add “bare tree-branch” arms.

10.      Use the paintbrush (yellow) to make the straw end of a broom that will be held in one arm.  Add the stick of the broom with a wide straight- line tool (red).

11.     Use the paintbrush (blue) to draw mountains and land behind the snowman.  Be sure there is no break in the horizon, so the sky can be filled.
12.     Use the fill bucket (blue) to fill in the sky.
13.     Draw a pine tree with a brown straight- line trunk, green wide paintbrush branches.  Select it, copy it, paste it several times.  Resize the additional trees and place them throughout the drawing. If you can’t see the background when you paste the added trees, click on the “bring to front” button at the bottom of the tools on the left.
14.     Use light gray in the spray can to make a light coating of snow.
15.     Make a text box and type in a greeting.
