Copying Files
Copy to a floppy
- Put the floppy disk in the drive
- Open Windows Explorer (Keyboard shortcut:
while holding down the windows logo key, press the letter E)
The "flying window" icon is on the Windows logo key at the lower
left on the keyboard between the Control key (CTRL) and the Alternate key
(ALT).
- Get to the file you wish to copy by following
the correct path through folders
- From the right-side column, right click once on
the file (do not open it), click Copy from that drop down list

- On the left-side column, right click once on
3½ floppy A (it should be under My Computer), click Paste

Method 1

3½ floppy A (it should be under My Computer)
- From the right-side column, right click once on
the file (do not open it), click Copy from that drop down list

folder in which you wish to place the copied file, click Paste

Method 2
Double click on My Computer and then 3 1/2 Floppy Disk (A:) that has the
pictures on it.
Drag the images from the that window to the
desired location (folder on the server).

Send files and folders to another place
quickly
- Double
click on My Computer and then 3 1/2 Floppy Disk (A:) that has the pictures
on it.
- Locate
the file(s) or folder you want to send
- Select
the file(s) or folder you want to send.

On
the File menu, point to Send To, and then click the
destination, OR,
Right-click the
selected file(s) or folder, point to Send To, and then click a
destination
Copy
from one folder to another
- procedure similar to above
Copy
from the server to a
computer - same as above
Copy
from a computer to the server
- same as above
