Check Reading Level with
Microsoft Word
With your document open, go to
the Menu bar and click on Tools, then click Options.
Click on the Spelling & Grammar Tab. At the bottom of the Grammar
selection, check "Show readability statistics."
Click OK.
Go
back to the Menu bar and click on Tools. From the drop-down list, click Spelling
and Grammar. This will start spell
check - when spell check has been completed a window should appear that provides
information about readability level according to the Flesch Reading Ease score
and the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level Score.
