1.
Within an MS Office application (Word, PowerPoint, etc) insert the
clipart into the document:
Insert - Picture - Clipart - make a selection (go to Clips Online if desired -
see instructions elsewhere) - click on the graphic - click the insert icon (the
top one) - close the Insert Clipart window.
2. Be sure the
"handles" are on the graphic in the document (if not, click on it),
Copy.
3. Paste the “copy” into a new Paint document. (Start - Programs - Accessories - Paint - Paste)

Use the fill bucket (red) to change the pink body to red.
You may have to click in several areas.
5. Use the fill bucket (white) to change the background color splotches to white - in effect erasing the background.
6. Use the selection rectangle to outline the desired image. In the menu bar, click Image, Flip/Rotate, Flip horizontal, OK.
7. Be sure the “handles” are on the graphic in the document (if not, click on it), Copy.
8. Go to the Office document, get the "handles" on the graphic. Paste (this replaced the original clipart with the edited clipart).
