It is important to know terms and concepts, as well as common ways to complete tasks. Once these skills are known, you should be able to use any similar program - just look for the terms you know in the menu bar, and try what you think is correct. Several different application programs are used throughout Otsego elementary classrooms so the information within this website is not necessarily for a specific program.
THINK about what you want to do and how you might do it, what are some of the words we used in class; EXPERIMENT, try what you think is right, just don't panic - keep calm and "undo" something right away if it doesn't work; SAVE OFTEN; go to the program's HELP file.
The pages within this web should be read thoughtfully. Most of the tasks required for grades 4 through 6 are covered.
As you read, think about the topic and try to "see" the program in your mind as it looks when we use it.
